Crochet Commissions

I am taking crochet commissions for a variety of things.  Visit my facebook page and store (info to the right) to view what I can do.  That is just a portion of what I can do.  I would also like to assist other business that have an overflow of orders and need extra help.  This is a win-win for both of us.  If you would like to hire me for commission or for work, please contact me. 

More bajan things

I would like to be more patriotic and make more bajan things but the time!  I can make quite a few other things for other countries once I know the colour combinations.  Soon I will have a few things I am working on appearing on this site so I can have more pics and more activity going.  The lack of computer is still  slowing me down but I am trying to work with this challenge.  Please stay tuned for more stuff happening on this page.  Like,subscribe and add me to your social media accounts as well.  See the info to the right.

Crochet Bag - orange, yellow and white

This bag I made with bright colours to see if I can do alternating colours. I really would like to keep it for myself. lol  Everything is handmade even down to the button.  Add this to your swag wardrobe.

Monster Amigurumi

I made this and gave it to my sister.  She paid a small fee to cover part of the cost of the yarn.  It took quite a bit of stuffing and yarn to make.  She is in love with this monster! Can't blame her.  Thinking of making some accessories for him as well.  She has named him Stubby.  I will work on a hat for him but I probably won't post pics until much later since he has gone travelling.  

Not a bad attempt at a stuffed monster.

Day 15 - 30 Day Challenge

Day 15: What was your least favourite pattern and why?

Anything that is not written properly.  Then it makes it hard for me to follow.  If it has mistakes it is also frustrating especially if you invest in materials and excited about a pattern and then it is not written properly and have to make adjustments and practically rewrite the pattern.

Updating my blog

It is hard to keep track of all the pics I have and the things  I do on the various sites I manage for myself.  I will try though!  So if you see a lot of repetitive stuff from me, it is just me trying to publicise as much info as possible.  It is hard to keep up with all that I am doing.  I have a very busy schedule and feel so run down from doing so much.  I hope you look forward to my posts!

Day 14 - 30 Day Challenge

Day 14: What’s the worst yarn/fiber that you’ve worked with and why?

 I only have worked with Red Heart Super Saver, Soft, baby yarn and cotton.  That's what's available here so unless I get something better, there is no worst yarn/fiber at the moment. 

Translating patterns - Ayuda para interpretar/traducir patrones de ganchillo

I am thinking of going into translating since I do it for myself all the time with crochet patterns.  Plus, I need the practice lol.  I actually like to translate even though it is time consuming and sometimes you have to be doing the pattern the same time to understand what the person means.  I have found many spanish patterns out there, really good ones too that I have translated for myself, for the most part.  I did a few from french to english and have only tried a couple in italian. Unfortunately, this would not be a free service since it does take my time and effort but it is something that I am willing to do since I like to crochet and understand the difficulties in crocheting when you like a pattern but it's not your language.  The cost would be minimal.  If you wish this to be done, please email me.  I can answer short questions for free.

Day 13 - 30 Day Challenge

Day 13: Do you have yarn that you love but can’t find a project for?

 Well I have scrap yarn that I keep trying to find projects for or find a way to use.  I would love to get some shimmer yarn but I feel like I would want everything in this yarn lol

Sometimes I go and buy the yarn with one intent and make something totally different. 

Back - sorta

I have been away for a while due to internet issues.  I'm sorry about this but there is nothing I can do about it due to the crappy service of my internet provider.  This has been months now and still nothing.  I will still try to update here but it's difficult.
